We work directly with the support staff in the field. We take information from them and from talking with and observing the client to inform a process in programme design. We then develop a draft programme in consultation with staff and client. This is discussed and when agreed upon we train the staff in the implementation of the programme. This training occurs in the field with the staff and client. We then apply proactive scheduling to further refine staffs specific skills and maintain the programme integrity. Our programmes are at the cutting edge of client support and based on the principles of applied behaviour analysis.
What do we need to know about the person to develop an effective, efficient, and durable treatment intervention?
A behavioural assessment forms the foundation for the development and implementation of behavioural programmes. It is on this foundation that these programmes will either succeed or fail. These programmes consider ecological, positive programming, decelerative procedures, reactive procedures and systemic change to assist the person to overcome the challenges presented by their behaviour.
